I feel like when you think of Germany, you might have the image of girls wearing Dirndls and boys Lederhosen, with a bear in one hand and a sausage in the other. I must say, it would be quite a special place if all people were like that and I will not deny that some aren´t, because I am sure somewhere in Germany there is someone like that. And it´s cool.
Berlin on the other hand is nothing like that. Berlin is culture, fashion, food, life. I think you can find everything in Berlin. And it will never become boring. Since Berlin is also the capital of Germany, it is quite a city. And when I say “quiet” a city I mean a city with 3,5 million inhabitants. That´s a lot (not compared to other capitals, but for me ;)). In Berlin there is a large variety of restaurants, which can be overwhelming at the beginning, so I listed some of my favorites. I hope they help (and inspire) you.
So if you ever come to visit Berlin, here are a few places (for food) I would recommend checking out:
Mirchi Restaurant
The Mirchi Restaurant is a singapore style restaurant located in Kreuzberg. What I like about this restaurant is of course the food, but also the quantity and quality. I recommend visiting during the week, before 16:00, as you can then order from the Daily Menu and get free rice, a salad, a traditional bread and a yummy soup for free!!!
Hans im Glück
Hans im Glück is kind of a fast-food restaurant. This might not sound appealing at first, but it is the best burger restaurant I have ever been to. You can choose from the list of fresh, unique burger creations and combine it with sweet potato chips, dips and cocktails. It´s not cheap, but it is definitely worth it.
